I live in a foreign country. I want the search box on a New Tab to refer to Google in my home country, not Google for the country in which I live.

ie, I live in Spain, so the Google search box on a New Tab shows up answers from google.es, but I want to use google.com.au.

What do I need to change?

Thanks in advance

New Tab page uses the same search engine as the Search Bar and the Location Bar. Do you have an AU Google search engine installed?

http://mycroftproject.com/google-search-plugins.html Three AU / Australia search engines available from the Mycroft Project.

Thank you.

I had to disable the No-Script add-on, to get the page you suggested to load properly, but then I was able to add the relevant search engine. The search box, within the page of a New Tab, is now home home-country search engine.
