Pocket was an add-on which was originally known as Read It Later. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/read-it-later/

As of Firefox 38.0.5 on June 2nd it is a feature that is built into Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/save-web-pages-later-pocket-firefox

Since I don't see Pocket in you list of installed extension, it is probably safe to assume that you are a new user for Pocket. Here is information about how to use it. http://help.getpocket.com/customer/portal/topics/209720-pocket-for-web/articles Hopefully that will answer your questions .

Sorry, that service is of no interest to me. I haven't checked it out, nor did I ever use Read It Later - the original name of that service. When I want to read something later, like off-line, I save the webpage to my PC in MHT format.

Quick read of how Pocket works it that the URL's are saved, not the contents of the individual webpages. IOW a glorified way to save bookmarks, although I may be mistaken.

The Firefox web browser does not make use of the separate Google Chrome web browser in any form as the chrome word was used in Mozilla products for a decade before the Google Chrome browser was even first released in 2008.

Toolbars, menu bars, progress bars, and window title bars are all examples of elements that are typically part of the chrome.

You may able to do what you wish using the third party premium paid for service from pocket; and aditionally archive information on their servers, assuming you agree their T&C (Do they acquire rights to the information ? for instance). the-edmeister said I save the webpage to my PC in MHT format That may not be suitable cross platform. Note however Firefox on Android will save pages as .pdf files. Firefox on desktop computers is also able to do that using an addon.

I am not using Pocket, but as I understand it you may be able to Sync what are effectively glorified bookmarks. Have a look also at the Mozilla Firefox article

Note the article has been rewritten within the last few days and now makes it clear that pocket needs an internet connection and does NOT save the files to your computer.

You may well have discovered you are able to Sync ordinary bookmarks with Firefox. Personally I would advise if you do use that service you also make routine manual backups of your bookmarks. Firefox Sync may occasionally corrupt or duplicate bookmarks and you then need an uncorrupted backup to sort out the mess.
