Sending of password for user newsmiles@suddenlinkmail.com did not succeed. Mail server pop.suddenlinkmail.com responded:invaled user or password. How do i fix?

When I log into my email (which has 2 different user accounts) I enter my password for one account and can get into my e-mail, however, it keeps asking for a password for the 2nd acct., which never been set up before since everyone should have access to it. This password request is new, I didn't used to get this message. I've guessed what password that could possibly have been entered, and it keeps telling me invalad password. How do I fix this problem? I've read about master reset, but not sure if I have to do this, or the consequences it will have.

most usually is is anti virus related. Disable your email scanner and reboot then see if the requests continue after the first mail get.
