A) Inbox messages fail to display, although reappearing when I press "fix" they immediately disappear again. B) Unable to locate messages after saving as drafts, cannot find a draft folder anywhere in latest version of Tbird.f C) also in inbox side window "address book" folder link heading now fails to appear in sidebar window, it appears in top menu only. Is there a major problem with latest version of Tbird or is it just me! Help most appreciated.

What does 'I press "fix"' mean?

Verify what folder is set-up as draft folder in your account settings.

I have no idea what 'inbox side window "address book" folder link heading' means.

Thanks for responding & apology for using wrong terminology. Decided to uninstall Thunderbird for 2nd time & started again from scratch, this time draft folder was back, however the problem of messages not appearing remained, so I went into "properties" of each folder & unticked the "apply default to all messages" box & clicked on "repair folder" (previously incorrectly referred to as "fix" - sorry! Suddenly Thunderbird was operating normally again; probably good luck rather than good management on my part. Also now my sanity has been restored I realize why "inbox side window" (read pane) & address book folder question made no sense!. Have now learned a lot! Any further comments you have would be be very welcome. Cheers & thanks.
