I have bookmarked things that I no longer want in my bookmarks. How do I delete those and get them out of my bookmarks completely and totally so that they never show up again in there?

You should take a look at the Bookmarks Knowledge Base article. It will show you how to add, edit, manage, and delete Bookmarks.
