Cannot download FF7.0. Have tried several times with firewall disabled. Any suggestions?
Windows XP Ver 5.0, Dell desktop, checked under updates and it says that my current version 3.6.23 is the most current with no updates. Tried manual installation of version 7.0 and it just says that it was saved and is safe. Am I doing something wrong?

Can you post us screenshot of the error?
- remove firefox completly from control panel
- get fresh installer from getfirefox.com
- run it
Solution found. Open up the download center on your computer, find the download and click run. Works like a charm. I found several copies (7 to be exact) of the FF download.
