firefox wont openfrom desktop. try to uninstall to reload firefox and it says its open and i have to close it first

Make sure that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) isn't locking files.
You can also try to delete or rename the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) on your hard drive.
