How many times must you download ff4? After I clicked "download 4" it did it; but the next window I got was "click here to dl ff4". How do you know?
When I went to dl FF4 on my laptop, it showed where to dl it, which I did and it completed. Then my next window showing a Firefox main page offered again "Click to Download FF4." So question, do you have to download it again or is the second dl category additional to it??????

You're running v3.6.16 at the moment. There was a security release issued which updates it to 3.6.18 and which you can download by going to Help | Check For Updates.
If you want to upgrade one step further to 4.0, then yes, you have to follow the same steps again (sorry).
Whatever you do though, it's important you update your plugins. Some of them are out of date which exposes your PC to attack. You can check to see which ones you need by going to Check Plugins
