If you did not intentionally edit it into your webpage, then it is a feature of google language tools. What google language tools will do, is open your page ''inside'' of their page, with the little tool-bar on the top. It's not really on your page, and no one else would see it when they went there. However, it's a useful tool. To view pages using it, you can go here: http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en and put the URL to the page you want to translate in the box under 'Translate a webpage' -------- Now, if you want to add translation to your web page, there are some tools you can add, which are described in this article here: http://www.labnol.org/internet/google-translation-widgets/10135/ I would say installation of them probably requires about an intermediate understanding of how to edit webpages. One of the tools there IS almost identical to the temporary google translation bar, and if you or someone else has been editing your pages to add and/or remove translation features, that is most likely what was there before. (or, it could be there, and just not in a way you can see if you have disabled flash) So, in short, go play with google's translation website, and if it appears that it's what you were looking at, then you have your culprit and can decide if you want to add a translation feature from the article to your page or not.
