transfer personal folders from old compter thunderbird to new
I have thunderbird on my old computer with local folders (Windows xp). Can I transfer them to my new compter. I have already setup Thunderbird on my new compter

Yes. make sure they have names different from any on the new PC. Then, with thunderbird not running, use windows file explorer to highlight the local folders entries in the old profile, copy and paste into the mail\local folders folder of the new PC.
