Can you show your windows setting? What is your sound setup? I'm on laptops with speakers plugged into the headphone jack?

I am experiencing the same problem. And, like you, all other avenues for audio work on my laptop except for the Firefox browser. Have you been able to resolve it?

2023-01-19: Same problem here. Just started a few days ago after the Microsoft Edge update. After trying every solution I found on the internet, nothing works. The key fact is that sound works everywhere and with every app and software on my desktop except Firefox. No sound streaming any site using Firefox. Currently, I using Firefox version 109.0 (64-bit). Windows 10 is fully updated. By process of elimination Firefox seems to be the culprit. Any suggestions? And more importantly, any solutions? I really don't want to be forced to use Edge. (ick). Thanks for your help in advance.

Success! I finally found the solution to my no sound problem thanks to a contributor, whyazerty. My conclusion was wrong. It was a Microsoft Windows problem after all. Please see https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1337148 if you're having the same problem.
