I did submit a report. Had to make yet another account to do so. Wish Mozilla would have a single point of entry with one user account.

Mozilla does use Firefox Accounts for a number of their services, just not with the Bugzilla general issues tracker that has been around since Aug 1998. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account

Start Thunderbird

Menu icon > Addons & Themes > select 'Themes'

At this point do not use any third party themes - uninstall them if they are still installed Do not select anything as we need to see what is being used when Thunderbird starts up.

You should see three Thunderbird options:

• Dark
• Light
• System theme-auto

Which one is set as 'Enabled' ? It should be the one at the top of the list.

Post images showing what is selected and what you are seeing, so we can see the difference.

You keep saying it reverts to 'default' - but default is whatever is selected, so first we need to establish what is used upon start. What is default.

Following on from previous comment Then tell us the following setting

• Menu icon > Settings > General
• Under 'Language & Appearance'
• Click on 'Colours'
