I'm in a dire need of exporting my browsing history from Firefox for Android. I accidentally deleted my history from my desktop Firefox and haven't been able to restore it via file recovery (didn't have any restore points or anything). I created a new profile and tried to sync, but I only got my history for two months restored. However, it appears that on my Android phone I still have a much older history. But how can I export it from there?

Hi

Assuming that you are currently signed into Firefox Sync on your copy of Firefox for Android and history sync is selected.

  1. Make sure you are signed out of your account in Firefox on your desktop.
  2. In Firefox for Android, open the menu, select Settings and at the top of the screen select your email address to view your settings and trigger a manual sync.
  3. Wait a few minutes and then sign into your account on the desktop copy of Firefox.
  4. You should then find that your bookmarks and history have been syncced across.

I hope that this helps.

I'm sorry, but it's a known fact that Firefox Sync works only with 2 months worth of history. I have already exhausted this option, as mentioned in the initial message.

Outside of Firefox Sync, there is no way to export browing history from Firefox for Android.
