Firefox Nightly triggering out of application memory messages
On a daily basis I am getting a popup that asks me to force quit applications since the system has run out of memory. In the list of apps, Firefox Nightly is always using 100GB+ of memory. I restart Firefox and then get the same message the next day.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Thanks - also wanted to mention that I went to about:memory and generated the memory reports but I didnt see any way to link them here or any info on how to send them to Mozilla. (if they would be helpful)
I called for more help.
Is the file text only? And not huge?
Open a text/word program and load the file. Left-click once. Now <Control> A to highlight everything, then <Control> C to copy it.
Next, have your web browser go to; https://pastebin.com/
Paste <Control> P the content of the file in the window. Note: On the bottom, fill out the boxes as best you can.
Now press Create A New Paste. The page will reload. Copy the new web address, and post it here.
the about:memory tool creates a memory-report.json.gz. When I unzip it, the file is 4.6Mb which is beyond the max pastebin size of 512Kb
After some observation, yes if I use Firefox in Troubleshooting mode it does not consume all my memory. But unfortunately Firefox is not very useful to me in this mode since I cannot use tools such as Jira or Figma.

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes), any userChrome.css/userContent.css files, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem. If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.
