Starting this morning, some of the news sites I visit are extremely slow to load. For example, foxnews.com and newsmax.com take about 45 seconds to load. Visiting a link within the home page yields the same problem.

All my other regularly visited sites are fine. Note that this is happening on two separate computers.

Further, videos now fail to play on nypost.com but play on youtube.com

I did a Refresh of Firefox with no luck and it seems to indicate it's running the latest version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

For some reason, everything automagically started to work later in the day (on both computers) after trying all sorts of home remedies - including flushing the DNS cache. Must have been a "network thing" - but THANK YOU for the suggestions. Will file them for future use! Was just weird ow only a handful of sites were affected.

All the best and thanks again.
