Hi, I've been looking for a way to force installed addons to update at launch, but haven't had much success. My real motivation behind this is to have a master profile, and use disposable copies for throwaway web browsing. I understand that private browsing mode provides something in that vein, but there are limitations in the way it has been implemented, and I would like to have an entirely separate preconfigured firefox instance for each usage. Is there a way to do this, or to force install the most current version of an addon from the repositories and to initiate it from the command line? Thanks, -cb
