On my screen websites seem to have their content zoomed in significantly and are off to the left so that scrolling would be needed to see the full webpage but I am unable to scroll from side to side zooming doesn’t help and at times seems to make the problem worse. Can anything be done?

Hi Tippytoe,

Looks like this happens for all websites, not just a few?

If you don't have too many customized Extensions and preferences, you could try to Reset Firefox and see if that resolves the issue.

"The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following

Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information. Click the "Reset Firefox" button. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Refresh Firefox"

Thanks!

EDIT: It would also be helpful to know what platform you are using -does this happen on a mobile or desktop device?

Are you using a Mac computer since you posted with an iPad user agent ?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Is this only about the web page area or also about the toolbar area ?

You may have accidentally zoomed web page(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
