This problem has been driving me crazy. When I'm browsing, all pages load fine and all the images are there. Then, for some reason, the browser glitches out, freezes for a split second, then gets back to working, but with certain images missing. Emojis, YouTube profile pictures on comments, etc. It's most noticeable on Whatsapp Web, where all the profile pictures from my contacts and all the emojis will disappear. Even when I'm typing a message, if I use an emoji shortcut, it will turn into the corresponding image and disappear.

This happens all the time and seemingly at random. The more time I spend on a given tab, the more likely it is to happen again. Then I have to either refresh the page or jump tabs until it magically goes back to normal -- for a while.

I've tried disabling all my add-ons and turning off Hardware Acceleration, but that didn't seem to change anything. The problem persists.

About to switch browsers (not a threat, I'm just really miffed and would like to get back to a normal online experience), because I can't seem to figure out what's causing this.

Thanks in advance.

I tried to upload the images showing what's happening on my original post, but it wasn't working, so here are the comparisons.
