I want to have one version of Firefox... But then have different profiles for specific websites. So, one one websites, I will have 3 different logins for example - abc, xyz and pqr.

I want to store cookies and passwords in one folder for abc and another for xyz and another for pqr. (Passwords not important - but would be nice to have)

How can I do this?

AND... can I access these profiles from different computers? Say for example, I would store using Dropbox. What happens if 2 computers have slightly different versions of Firefox? Say one is completely upto date - but the other isn't.

Thanks.

Hi there, I understand that you would like a different profile for 3 different websites. I also understand that you want the passwords to be separate as well as have the three profiles sync across a few devices.

This may not be exactly right, but I would recommend Sync for syncing profiles across devices. However, you may be limited to one profile per account. A different email for each website may be alot of work.

One other suggestion is that there are a few add-ons that use containers to seperate cookies (not stored passwords)

For the passwords specifically, there is a feature request from within the community that exists here - you may need a community account to login to see the thread.

In the meantime, I would use the Profile Manager to title each profile after the website you are using. (I believe I read you don't have different logins for the same site, but want a profile for each website?) For that case this is the article you want:

What are your thoughts on using containers for this use case?
