When filling out a form and submitting, if you use the back button you are asked twice if you want to resend. How do I prevent that?
I fill out a page that brings out a list of online courses. For example, the LMS (Learn Management System) asks me what should the course ID contain. I type in 18SP (courses containing 18SP in their course ID). This brings a list of such courses. I go ahead and then click on one of these courses. Now I am inside the course. Clicking on the back button, I now get an error message that reads that the page expired (because the previous page was a fillable form). There is a button that reads "Try again". I click on that and then I am prompted one more time, this time the button reads "Resend". This is a two step process, compared to the one step process I am used to. Is there a way to change that, so that the back button automatically resends without asking? Or at least ask only once? TIA, Raphael

Don't go back. Open those links in a new tab and when you're done with that tab close it. The original page will still be in the tab you left.
Note that you get such a message when you use the Back button to go to a page that was requested from the server by sending a form or search field. If you go back to such a page then Firefox will request that page from the server and need to resend the form. If for instance you would have bought something on that page then you would buy another item what you certainly wouldn't want to happen.
