Firefox 57 DOESN'T WORK

Hello I'm running Windows 7 Firefox keeps wanting me to update to firefox 57 But firefox 57 DOES NOT WORK!!!! loads all fine then went I want to go to a site say youtube It's Stops and then just stops working all together. Please I don't want my firefox to update but I can't uncheck the box where is says update fire when you load I guess I need to Chrome for just download firefox 56. But please help I've been using Firefox for years and I hate Chrome.... But it could be worse It's not like I'm going to use IE.. OMG I DID to download Chrome..... there's not enough water in the world to clean how dirty feel using that.

hi, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum (or if it's too long through a site like https://pastebin.mozilla.org/ and provide the link here)?

this might give us a clue what is going on. thank you!
