Getting inconsistent security warnings in same version of Firefox across different platforms

For the site: https://playerscircle.daddario.com/, I am getting a 'Your connection is not secure' warning with Firefox 54.0.1 on OS X El Capitan. Further inspection indicates that the certificate is Verified By: 'Not Specified',

The problem is that if I view the same site in the same version of Firefox on a PC, there is no error message, and it recognizes the verification as being from Network Solutions. I was able to verify these results on multiple PCs and Macs. Additionally, the certificate is accepted in all other major browsers.

Why is the same version of Firefox recognizing a certificate differently based on OS and how can I resolve this?

it's a failure on the part of the website in question. they use an intermediate certificate (not one that is trusted by the browser by default) but fail to provide a certification path to a known trusted authority - see: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=playerscircle.daddario.com

firefox caches intermediate certificates that are properly implemented, as you surf along - so in this case it will depend on chance if playerscircle.daddario.com works or not (or actually if firefox on a particular device has come across any other site that has properly implemented the "Network Solutions OV Server CA 2" intermediate certificate before).

Ok, It is rare for me to see the same error as someone else but in this case on a Windows PC I am seeing the same error.

When you Click Advanced there is the Add Exception Button. Add Exception if trust the site.

There is a whole issue with certificates at this time and many, many solutions or non at all. Firefox 55 release about Aug 8th. Please wait to see if that fixes the issue.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

To provide a little more context, I know that I can simply choose to add an exception. As a developer, I want to know why Firefox won't accept my certificate on a Mac but will on a PC, and why all other major browsers accept the certificate as is on both platforms.
