In this Mozilla article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-previous-session that either:

On the default Firefox homepage, I can click Restore Previous Session.

In History menu, I can select Restore Previous Session.

I want to know is there another way. Also, I'm not getting the "Well, this is embarrassing" page from which I could click the Restore button.

You will always have to remember history if you want to be able to restore tabs from the previous session. On Linux the Options/Preferences are under the Edit menu.

If Firefox crashes, send us the report numbers so we can help you stop them.

From the about:home page, you can press the Restore Preveous Session.

Try to use the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" as startup setting. This is more reliable than the other setting.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox starts":
"Show my windows and tabs from last time"
    "Show my home page"
    "Show a blank page"

Co-rel, thank you, what do I need to do in the Linux version. Would this require me to have History remembered?
