Why the right side does not move freely. Users would like the right side move up or down without affect the left side where the music playing. Also when you play the music on YouTube and you open new tab and search for something on other tab. Sometimes the music on other tab stop playing. Need to fix it. Also when you hold the tablet in the portrait with music playing in the background, then you turn the tablet to landscape. You are right about scrolling down the list of suggested videos. However this is an issue about a specific website (youtube) and not firefox.
The issue with the music playback stopping when opening tabs is not very common in the desktop version of firefox. Are you maybe using firefox in a tablet computer?
Audio pausing because of a system sound is very common in portable devices such as android devices. This happens with many system or application notifications, like facebook notification. It may not be necessarily a firefox issue but the configuration of your operating system.
