Copying emails saved locally - directly through the file system

more options

I used thundirbird to migrate email from work email address. All those emails are saved as local copies on my pc and local thunderbird.

However now my computer crashed so that I can not log on to windows, and subsequently I can not run Thunderbird. However I can access my files on that computer through DOS, and I can copy my files. However I do not know what exact file/files I need to copy from that PC to the new PC to make the emails be available to the new PC. I will need to copy these files directly through the file system

Thank you!

You need to copy your Thunderbird 'profile', which is a folder: it contains all your accounts, emails, settings etc. Read here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb
