No question, I gave up & restored computer to an earlier point.
Tried to fix all the issues I'm having with firefox & made the problem worse today by uninstalling & reinstalling firefox. Restored to an earlier point & now I'm back to original irritations that have popped up with firefox over the course of the last 2 or 3 updates.

Please give more details. What issues? What happen with the re-instal? What version did you start with?
