how do i get rid of "Group Your Tabs" icon?
I've tried for the 1st time that "Tab Groups" options. i dont need it. ive played a bit with it draging on tab tab outside of the main "window"/"group"/whatever then put it back. so its just 1 "group". not the problem is that im stuck with a new icon "Group your tabs" right after "List all tabs". how do i remove that icon without loosing my 200+ tabs...and if possible disable that "tab groups" option too.

hi loganj, like with most other elements in the interface, you can customize/remove it. the easiest way to get rid of it, is by right-clicking on it & removing it from the toolbar: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars
you cannot disable the whole tab groups feature per se, but it won't be active unless you're actively using it. at the moment the feature is planned to be removed from firefox altogether by the time firefox 45 is released anyway...

thank you. there is no right click option to remove it but it can be remove from Customize
If you have ever used Tab groups then you may have Tab group items in the Tab bar context menu. To disable/reset Tab groups:
- Click the name field of each tab group in the Panorama window (Shift+Ctrl+E) and reset each name to an empty string.
- Drag the Tab group icon of the Tab bar in the toolbar palette (View > Toolbar > Customize or Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout).
- Reset the browser.panorama.* prefs on the about:config page to remove the "Move to Group" entry in the right-click context menu of the Tab bar and close and restart Firefox.
