Why can't I see some emails on home computer if I read them earlier on another computer?
I read my emails at the office during the day, later in evening at home, I go onto my home computer and want to go back through some of them, however, oftentimes, I can't find some, not in my in-box or trash and I didn't delete them. If I go to my office, these emails are there, but not when I check email at home, some disappear. Please help! Thank you, Jim

Hi Jim, do you have a stand-alone email program accessing the same account on both computers, or are you using a browser on one of the computers (through a webmail interface)?
If you configure Thunderbird or another email program to use POP access, one of your choices is whether and how long to leave mail on the server. If you don't leave it there, then other mail clients that also access the account can't get those messages.
If you set up your account for IMAP access, then what you see locally is a mirror of what is on the server, and deleting locally also deletes what is on the server.
Does any of that sound relevant to your situation?
If you are thinking of switching how your account is set up (between POP and IMAP), please reply with what you have vs. what you want to get specific advice on how to avoid losing data. Before making any changes.
