Hi, I'm trying to recover my passwords and bookmarks from an external hard disk. I use time machine and I am going to the latest back up. However, there is no firefox folder in the Library/ApplicationSupport folder. I can see 'mozilla' but there is nothing there. I had firefox on my computer, that's the browser I always use. Where can my firefox folder be? Or is there any other place can I get my passwords and bookmarks from in this case? Thank you, marta

Note that there may be two Library/ApplicationSupport folders. You need the one in your user account (~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/) and not the one at the root level (/Library/Application Support/Mozilla/).

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the ~/Library folder is a hidden folder.

  • /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/
