In Outlook web app for email, the check boxes in the options window stopped working in Firefox. I also can't click on OK. I have to hit Esc to close the pop-up window.

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Plugin Check site.

Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.

To do so, please click each yellow or red button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure. If this does not work please let me know.

Thank you, but it doesn't seem to have worked. I updated VLC and QuickTime but nothing changed. I tried checking the Plugin Page again and it still said VLC wasn't updated. So I downloaded and installed it again. Now it still says it's not updated. Shockwave and QuickTime now say they're updated. There are 10 unknown plugins, but none of them seem relevant. And when I click on them, it just takes me to links. I never liked Outlook and like the Web version less, but I need to use it for work. Sigh....

I tried it again, but I keep getting a message that VLC needs to be updated. So I downloaded and updated it. But--strangely--when I check for updates in VLC, I get a message: "An error occured while checking for updates..." OK, but I still need to use my email. So I tried again and the pop-ups for options and alarms don't work when I click on them. (I have the webmail site in my pop-up exceptions). I thought maybe it's the Outlook app that's not working, but it works in Chrome. (Except, in Chrome, it doesn't let me attach files!) Thanks again.
