We have a Mac Mini, running OS X 10.6.8, using NetZero DSL as our internet provider and Firefox as our browser. Our computer was accessed remotely through LogMeIn (Rescue), but it appears that the person/group were not successful in hacking our computer. Are there settings in Firefox that would prevent this from occurring in the future? Thanks...

Firefox is a web browser not a Firewall.

I agree that this is more to do with your OS and the LogMeIn software on making sure only you have access when you need to.

It looks like you can block the specific program on your Firewall: http://help.logmein.com/SelfServiceKnowledgeRenderer?type=FA...

However if you are looking to block all remote connections, you might want to ask a general support forum about how your operating system can do this.
