Hello,

I started experiencing problems with Mozilla Firefox about an hour ago. I usually use Google Chrome, Chrome started to crash frequently (10 times in 5 minutes) so I switched to Firefox. Firefox also exhibits frequent crashing though it is not as frequent as Chrome. I have reset the browser and tried starting it in Safe Mode. The crash still happens. How can this be fixed?

Thanks, Manas

I assume you have shut down and restarted Windows since this problem began, in case something in memory is causing problems for both browsers.

When Firefox crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox Crashes" (especially the last section) for steps to get those crash IDs, and then post some of the recent ones here.

I uninstalled Firefox and Chrome and rebooted. I then reinstalled both browsers and the problem appears to have been fixed.
