ETP breaks Teachable.com courses
ETP breaks Teachable.com courses. Specifically because the domain player.hotmart.com is blocked. But this domain itself isn't used for tracking. Hotmart uses tracking-api.hotmart.com for tracking. So ETP breaks all websites that serve their courses via Teachable and there is no workaround other than disabling ETP for that site. Please whitelist Hotmart and add tracking domain only.

Thanks for reporting this! I agree that this kind of blocking breaks the website too much. Can you test if using ETP's Custom option then unchecking only the Tracking Content option is enough to get Teachable courses working again? I feel like either Tracking Content needs to be turned off or both Cookies & Tracking Content turned off.

Either way I'm reporting this to the Firefox devs as this is causing too much breakage.
Was it breaking the Teachable videos only? I discovered a report back in 2022 about this happening on Teachable.

blocks all website that use teachable to serve their videos. it does not necessarily have to be under teachable's domain. this obviously also breaks any website using hotmart to serve their videos too.
Thanks! That's what I needed to know. And wow! That's very extensive breakage. You put it into perspective for me once you said: Blocks all websites that use Teachable to serve their videos. It does not necessarily have to be under Teachable's domain. This obviously also breaks any website using Hotmart to serve their videos too.
I will update this thread when I file a bug for this so you can track it. Thanks again for reporting! If this gets fixed, it will solve hundreds if not thousands of people who are hitting this breakage.
