My Thunderbird stopped downloading new email messages on August 22 (but is still able to send). Microsoft says that Thunderbird is not comptatible with Windows 10, but it worked fine before the update. Is there now a compatibility issue?

Can you share the URL link with MS's statement about incompatibility? That would be interesting to see, since Thunderbird has worked for years with windows 10, actually since windows 10 was released, and also works fine with windows 11. Please share. Thanks.

Didn't save it, it was something I saw when troubleshooting at Windows Support.

I repeat: Thunderbird opens and sends; it hasn't put any incoming mail into my inbox since August 22. I have edited my inbox and compacted folders, but nothing seems to work. Stored incoming server info is correct, including authentication.

Microsoft tells me that my desktop is incompatible with Windows 11. I understand that support for Windows 10 is coming to an end.

I'd still value any suggestion about how to troubleshoot this loss of Thunderbird functionality.

Here's the troubleshooting link I previously posted in the chain following my first inquiry on this issue: https://pastebin.mozilla.org/z7XxbFGc

Please post a screenshot of your incoming server setup. That may prove helpful. Thank you. if there are error messages, those will also help.
