Recently upgraded Thunderbird from version 61(?) to version 91.0.1. Could not find my address book. Found instructions on how to import address books. Successfully imported contacts. However, they were added to "abook" address book; not "Personal Address Book" (PAB). Tried to move to PAB; would not move. Tried to copy and paste each list to PAB; could not do it. Screenshot of top left part of address book shown (names partially obscured due to privacy).

How do I move all these contact lists from "abook" to the PAB?

Try this: - exit TB first - locate your profile where the addressbooks are - you probably see abook-1.sqlite and abook.sqlite - to be safe, copy BOTH of them elsewhere to avoid any problems. - now, delete abook.sqlite and rename abook-1.sqlite to abook.sqlite. - start TB. you should see all addresses in Personal Address Book. If 'abook' still appears as an addressbook, just delete it.

Thanks; that solved it. As you mentioned, I ended up with "abook" with no addresses so it was deleted.
