I have used Mozilla many times but now when I get on and try to navigate to specific sites, I am directed only to amazon.com. The word or phrase I used to try to get to another site is then used to find products on amazon. How can I fix this?

Could you start by checking that your default search engine is not set to Amazon? The second section of this article has the steps: Use the Search bar in Firefox and manage search engines.
