I am having an odd problem where Adobe Flash Player is not working but only with FB games/apps and only in Firefox. I am able to play FB games in IE and I am also able to see Flash test videos in FF. I have tried installing v26.0b of FF as well as updating to the most recent version of Flash.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash update and/or a malfunctioning browser plugin such as Real Player.

In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

It looks like they have changed RealPlayer to RealPlayer Cloud and in the process maybe removed/moved the "Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browsers". I have searched on the internet for where I can find this option in the RealPlayer Cloud but have not come up with anything. I completed all of the troubleshooting steps up to this one and still am not able to open the Flash apps in FB.

Try starting firefox in Safe mode and seeing if those Flash is now working for one of those things it wasn't working for. (to do this go to firefox in the top right, over to help, and then restart firefox with add-ons disabled), if it's now working that means one of your extensions is the problem. For me it was Adblock Plus. Go back to normal firefox and open your extensions and disable it, now try and see if Flash is working. That's what worked for me, hope it helps!
