I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, and Firefox 3.6.13, which I just downloaded yesterday. Antivirus is Eset Smart Security 4.0.

I get an error: Bad Request - Invalid Verb. HTTP Error 400. The request verb is invalid.

only on one particular website (listed below, but it happens with anything that I click on within the site including the forums/chat.)

This error does not come up in IE, but I want to use Firefox for numerous reasons. I cannot find a resolution to the problem. I've reset the router, turned off firewall, made sure that the website is listed in the Safe sites. I have cleared my cookies and have the program set to clear cache at exit.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I have already done that and still get the error.

I ended up uninstalling Firefox in it's entirety yesterday and downloading the version 4 Beta and all was fine until right now. Getting the Invalid Verb error again on the same website.
