Let's say a mail account (IMAP) is installed on Thunderbird on two computers (A and B). I made a local folder (SENT_MAILS) on each computer and I want every sent mail to be copied there, regardless of the original sender (A or B). More specific: user A sends an email, the mail is stored on IMAP sent folder, user B can see this email on their IMAP sent folder. BUT, what I want is user B to has this email on their local folder SENT_MAILS also. I created a filter on both Thunderbirds, that copies every sent mail on the local SENT_MAILS folder, but in that way each USER has on their SENT_MAILS only the emails that have been sent from their own Thunderbird. What I am trying to do is having a local and total backup of sent mails on every pc, so be able to delete whatever from IMAP sent folder if it needs to.

Are you asking a question? If so, please be specific. Thank you.

Yes, I thought it was clear. I am asking how can I achieve what I want??

Well, you mentioned having created filters to achieve your goal. Are they working? It seems a prudent approach to test. Just run the filter whenever using each PC.

Are the filters working? Yes and No! The filter copies sent mail to local folder, but only to the current computer.. The other computer's SENT_MAIL folder does not get updated!

I understand. The filter must be run separately on each computer, as Thunderbird does not maintain synchronization across two computers.
