My wife just got her new Samsung Galaxy Note 20.

First order to me was: 'Make it work like my old phone (Sony Experia)'. So - first install was licensed AVG, second Firefox (82.1.3 Build #2015774643) And I thought that was it. What more could she possibly need...

Her - about 30 seconds later: 'I cant download pdf'. Me - about 3 hours later: 'What the f*** is going on...'?

So what is going on with Firefox? It works like a charm on my OnePlus 7 Pro (83.1.0 Build #2015776403). But on the Galaxy Note it can not download anything. No pdf, docx, xlsx, audio or video clip. It just tries with no luck, and finally gives up. AVG have been disabled and uninstalled with no effect. External download manager toggled on/off with no effect.

Settings are default, and no Firefox extensions installed on the Samsung. Using Chrome there are no problems - download and opening of any file works. And regarding my firewall, all other devices have no problem establishing an outbound connection, and receiving files in return.

Is there anywhere I can investigate what is going on, or do I have to skip Firefox on Samsung?

Thanks in advance. Torben

Hi Torben

There is an update due out later this week that should correct that issue.
