Firefox has been crashing daily. Need to reinstall every time it crashes. Have tried different versions of Firefox but it still crashes.

The latest Crash ID: bp-aea83dc4-ed3d-4298-8686-b149b0201126

Would appreciate help in fixing the problem. Thanks!

Thank you for the report link and sorry to hear about the crashes. When you say --

Need to reinstall every time it crashes.

-- is that because when the crash happens once, it keeps happening at every startup after that? Or Firefox won't start for other reasons?

This crash report has the signature "imgRequest::OnDataAvailable" which seems related to retrieving an image from the network, but it's hard to tell without knowing more about this part of Firefox's source code. And it doesn't seem very common, for what it's worth:

If you are clearing your Firefox data during reinstall, you might not have any other crash report IDs to compare to know whether Firefox is always crashing in this function or whether there are other clues.

Thanks for your quick response.

It doesn't crash immediately after each install. It would run for several hours or up to a day after a new install. After it's crashed, I cannot even start it in safe mode.

Someone just suggested that I install the 64 bit version. I will give that a try to see if it will resolve the issue.

I do have several other crash reports, if you would like to see them. I would like to understand why the crashes are happening, and hopefully help others experiencing the same issue.

What are your connection settings ?

Are you using a direct connection or possibly a VPN or proxy ?

I have tried both connecting directly or via VPN. The same issue exists.
