All of my saved articles in Pocket disappeared after I downloaded the newest Mac OS. I had to re-sign up for Pocket, since my Pocket account was gone also. Where can I find the missing pages? Thanks

hello kenmeer,

You can find some items like the bookmarks star and pocket in the "Page actions" drop-down list (3-dot icon at the right end of the location/address bar). You can right-click an item in the "Page actions" drop-down list to add its button to the location/address bar for easy access.

tell me fixed your problem.

Thank you for replying, but I still can't find the missing Pocket pages.

hello again kenmeer,

1. Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter. A warning page may appear. Click Accept the Risk and Continue to continue to the about:config page.

2. Type pocket in the Search box.

3. Click the Toggle Button next to the extensions.pocket.enabled preference to toggle its value to true.

Address bar button for Pocket

When Pocket is enabled, a Pocket button appears in the address bar by default. You can remove the Pocket button from the address bar without disabling Pocket, as follows:

Right-click the Pocket button and click on Remove from Address Bar.

I hope resolved your problem then reply back to me.

Thank you!

"To get started, sign up for a free Pocket account. You can even use your existing Firefox Account to sign up. After you create your new Pocket account, you can install Pocket on your devices and add it to your Firefox browser. When you add it to your Firefox browser, you will always have access to it from your Firefox toolbar so that you can manage your content."

Your Pocket data is tied to the Account that you used. When you "re-sign" for Pocket you don't have access to the original account or the data that was previously saved to it.

See if anything here - - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/log-pocket-your-firefox-account - - helps you get back to your original account. But you need to remember if you used a separate registration "account" or if you used the newer Firefox Accounts system. Both sound like they could / can be used per those Knowledge Base articles. Firefox Accounts is an effort to make all Mozilla related services available with one registration, but in my experience it doesn't work too well for some users.

Never used Pocket myself so I have never experienced what I think is the problem. I don't follow herds, I had enough of that (following the crowd) in the armed services50 years ago ....
