Suggest you compact folders to see if this releases some space as deleted emails may still be 'marked as deleted' and hidden, but still in files. This may delete unwanted mail off server. check your webmail account using a browser, if new mail cannot arrive on server then it cannot be downloaded. You may need to remove mail off server - store it in Thunderbird 'Local Folders' or delete some emails.
