I am running Thunderbird 45.2.0 on a linux desktop (xubuntu 16.04) connected to a POP / Earthlink mail server and am noticing 2 issues:

1. Sent DRAFTS are not being purged on sending 2. Sent DRAFTS and their iterations are not being purged on sending

No 2. has begun to occur within the past 7 days or so (since 22 August) - issue No. 1 has been occurring off and on over the past "while" - but it had not really been bothersome - and there were no iterations collecting - until No. 2 reared its ugly head....

This is this FIRST issue I can recall having with Thunderbird over the past 10 years!

Thanks for any guidance!

I think these issues have (lately) tended to be imap server issues. But you are running pop?

Indeed - I am running pop. Have been for years and never anything else on this Thunderbird client. Not clear what's caused this latest iterative DRAFT behavior. Thanks for the reply!

Sounds like a problem with Earthlink. Are you still seeing the problem?
