Im trying to update flash player through firefox. It starts the update process and gets to 50% then asks me to close Firefox which i do or have already done yet it keeps telling me to close firefox. This is driving me mad. What am I doing wrong?

hi bajonely, if you are having issues updating flash please try with adobe's offline installer instead that is available at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (for firefox use the exe-installer for "plugin-based" browsers)

I am having the same problem today, tried doing Flash from CNET downloads that connects to the Adobe site.No luck. Will try the other method when I get home. What is the underlying issue? THX
