New Tab Not Working!
Since update I can no longer use the new tab function. I select new tab and then enter an address or a bookmark link and nothing happens. Please help!

Do you have the Mega extension?

Hello leoone, do you mean clicking on the new tab button does not work? What happens when you try to open a link in a new tab (right click on a link > Open in a new tab)?
New tab button will not load anything it just hangs. Right click a link and open in new tab does load the bookmark, but this is an extra step that was not required before. If I press Ctrl T for a new blank tab then do a search or select a bookmark the page does not load.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

This worked thank you. Disabled a few legacy extensions, New Tab is back to functioning as before.

If you have tried all these and is still not working then you try the steps below-
1) Go to the root folder where Firefox is installed
it is generally installed in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox)
2) Right-click Firefox- properties-details tab and click on Remove properties and personal information-just click ok 3) now a new firefox - Copy.exe is created
use the new one as your default browser
I hope this helps
