Provided wrong password and can't verify account. Exceeded resend attempts and am locked out,
I downloaded Mozilla today and am setting up my account. It asked for my email address and password to verify my account. I stupidly made up a password thinking it was for Mozilla. Obviously, no email was sent to my email account. I hit resend several times and now I've exceeded the attempts. I tried starting over but nothing works. How can I provide my correct email address and correct password so that I can receive the link to verify and activate my account?

To begin with, you don't need to "sign up" for anything just to use Firefox. The "sign up" offered upon installation is for using the optional services that are available, which would require having a Firefox Account.

If you don't need any of those services, you don't need a Firefox Account. Note, this forum is not yet connected with the Firefox Account log in system. I have been waiting for the "connection" to be made for almost 5 years now.

The access should reopen after a time. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.
