Configuration option to show bookmarks toolbar by default?
I need to deploy Firefox under Linux to a large number of machines with the bookmarks toolbar showing all the main sites the users need to use by default.
I can get the toolbar to show with my custom bookmarks by manually clicking "View", "Toolbars", "Bookmarks Toolbar" but I don't want to have ask each user to do this manually. They will be running this in a session that doesn't persist, so the user would have to manually click every time to show the toolbar.
Is there a configuration setting anywhere that will show the bookmarks toolbar by default? I can't find a setting that works

Many thanks for the reply, but I need a method that doesn't involve user input. I've got it customized as needed, but I just need it to show the bookmarks toolbar when it's first opened by the user. There doesn't seem to be an about:config setting
Toolbar state (visibility, layout) is stored in localstore.rdf in the active profile folder. Maybe you can copy one from a profile set up the way you like and package or push it to users?

Also, "toolbar. In" is 404. Didn't seem like a good post, to begin with, btw. :-/
P.S. Tempted, to vote it down - but, didn't. ;-) :-)

Hi nimd4, I think that's an artifact of a space missing between the end of the one sentence and the beginning of the next. The wiki software (not very cleverly) thought it must be a domain name.
