Norton is responsible for updating their extensions for Firefox (by the way, norton virus protection is still running, it isn't dependent on Firefox to run). Run live update a few times to try to update them.

I understand that the virus protection is still on. But what about the vulnerability protection? The tool bar is there and I get the Norton Web status on searches so I am not sure what is NOT covered???
