I switched to Firefox on mobile after using other browsers on and off but I thinking of going back to Chrome. This browser sucks when watching videos. I dislike autorotate except when watching videos so I usually disable the feature. This wasnt a problem until I installed firefox, it doesnt rotate videos on fullscreen when I disable autorotate on my phone, this seems reasonable but other browsers make it work.

Could you explain in a little more detail the steps to reproduce the problem? Here's what I see:

(1) Starting point: Autorotate is enabled on the device

(2) Tapping the full-screen button on the video player uses landscape mode.

(3) Firefox does not cancel full screen or exit landscape mode when I rotate the device to portrait orientation. (It does flip the video if I rotate the device 180 degrees.)

Is that your experience with Autorotate disabled? What do other browsers do that you prefer?

1: disable autorotate 2: go to video (e.g. nasa.gov/multimedia/videogallery/index.html) 3: start video and click on fullscreen 4: video does NOT rotate to landscape whereas other browsers do such as Chrome

I want to know if this is a bug on my samsung A53 or if its just bad browser design

Hi

I have just tried a video from that site and with rotate turned off, the video immediately rotated to full screen when full size was selected.

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android?
